Ready for our close up!
While working out with my trainer(totally my friend who keeps me motivated) we discuss alot. We talk about life, our family, our frinedships, likes, dislikes, and it goes on and on… This last few weeks we started discussing parties, how few we have anymore, how much we love them, and how we never get dressed up. This is all very understandable as we have 6 kids between us, we work, and live out in the country, all obsticales to a party lifestyle!

The topic of the Oscar’s came up and I divuldged my wish to get all dressed up and watch the red carpet coverage with my girlfriends. Let’s face it no one can dish about fashion better than a group of ladies! So an idea was sparked. Let’s throw a party with finger food, bubbly, fancy dresses, and the Oscar’s! We then decided to include our daughters in the mix. We thought it was never too early to indoctrinate them in good fashion sense!

So there we found ourselves last night nibbling on good food, watching our daughters play hide and seek in party dresses. Enjoying eachothers company while talking about everything, even commenting on some of the dresses. As the party broke up and we hustled all the kiddos out the door since it was a school night it was decided that this was going to be a annual event!
All eyes go to the red carpet! i.e. the TV!
I highly reccomend planning a get together just because, celebrate life in all it’s forms. Enjoy eachother, work on your friendships, and always look good doing it!!!
