Well it is Friday again and while everyday I wake up and have to spend with my family is a good one, Fridays always seem just a little better and brighter! Just finished cleaning out our laundry room in preparation for moving the washer and dryer to a different wall. This I thought would be an easy process, wrong!!
Remember that previous post on being ( or not being) domestically gifted? Well I was once again reminded today that I am not! Apparently the laundry room is the place we clean and dry our clothes thus did not think that it got dirty. Not sure the last time it was thoroughly cleaned, or if it has ever been thoroughly cleaned. That was the sentence that just made my mother cringe!
So here I am pulling out all the bins, racks, and carpets from the room, by myself of course since hubby is at work ( he always seems to miss these fun chores), looking at the grungy spots on the floor, the dust ontop of the machines feeling pretty low on the housekeeping front. I start thinking to myself WHY? Not why am I doing this, it needed to be done, but why am I beating myself up? So I stopped and decided to blog about it!
This whole blogging thing is like therapy only cheaper! So here is my declaration to the world, MY LAUNDRY ROOM WAS A MESS!(and my closet, the linen closet, the attic, and anywhere downstairs that the kids are in control of). Ok I feel better. now it is time to pick up the hubby early from work and head to a movie!! Ill let you know what we see!
